Hip Hop Hijabis is a feature documentary following three years in the lives of Poetic Pilgrimage - two Muslim converts promoting women’s rights and interfaith dialogue through hard-hitting rhymes and catchy beats… undeterred by the fact that some interpretations of Islam say music and female performance is forbidden.
